Dr. Euwe was the guest of the Redwood Empire Chess League last Friday night at the Green Mill Inn. Thirty-five chess players and their wives attended the dinner. The ex-world champion took on 23 players and won 20, drew two (Alan Kelly, Santa Rosa, and Gus Wollman, Petaluma) and lost to young Roland Goudswaard of Santa Rosa.
