AGaslighting is a cruel, vindictive form of psychological violence. Did Nixon actually invite Fischer (while cut off from communications in Iceland) or did yellow journalist Darrach just make up the whole story and lied to millions of Americans? Robert Fischer confirmed he NEVER received an invitation.
The White House declined comment because there was no truth to the report.
