Many players cannot resist the temptation of capturing a Pawn even though the enemy may gain a strong attack thereby. But when a Queen is left open to capture, no one, not even the world's champion, can resist the temptation unless a mate is obvious. Some years ago when Capablanca was touring England, he met defeat in one of his exhibitions by capturing his opponent's Queen and attempting to get away with it. This interesting games follows.
Jose Raul Capablanca (white) vs. Alfred Emery (black)
