L.A. Times Problem No. 140 by Dr. E. Mazel, Norwich Mercury. White mates in two.
FEN q3b2K/3p2n1/3p1B2/R3R3/5p2/3B1pb1/rP6/k1n5 w - - 0 1
Key: P-N3/b3. The White knight should have been a Black one, as the Forsyth notation showed. An easy key move, but shows a remarkable theme--a 'rooks-wheel'--the rook mating on each of the 14 squares to which it can move according to Black's 14 different defenses.
