Key: Intended solution is P-Q4. (1. d4 cxb4 2. Qxe5#) Ten-fold sacrifice of a pawn! But Q-B6ch (1. Qc6+ Kd4 2. Qxe4#) also works. Same was diagrammed exactly as shown in S.S. Blackburne's 'Terms and Themes of Chess Problems,' several copies of which are in the Los Angeles Public Library.
