BY PALL J MILLER, Jr. UPON completion of their intraclub tourney the Agriculture Chess Club plans to branch out and engage in a number of interclub matches of the restrictive caliber even as other local units. Central High has a trio of young veterans—William Reynolds, Antonio Higuera and Robert Hostler—who upset the topnotchers of the Procurement Chess Club of the Treasury a week ago. The same trio will engage aces from the Omar Khayyam Chess Club of George Washington University next week. College players will be Champion George L. Derr and Winfred Horn and the threesome will be rounded out with either Ketler, Katz or Podnos. The Central boys are angling for a bout with the select Montrose Chess Club, which will be forthcoming at an early date. By writing the Metropolitan Chess Association, Parkside Hotel, any local club may arrange for match play and use the playing facilities of the Social Chess Lounge. Amaxons Seek Chess Glory. Present entrants number Mesdames Vivian Jeffers, E. R, Sheppard, H. E. Kittredge, Anna Bran.

According to the announced rules, posted in the Social Chess Lounge, any woman residing in the District I may compete. In case of infringement of the rules the president of the M. C. A. shall act as referee. There is no tournament fee for participation in the title contest.
